Sun Valley Resort, ID and Snowbasin, UT are leaving Vail Resorts’ Epic Pass, and joining Alterra Mountain Company’s Ikon Pass for the Winter ’22-’23 season. Sun Valley and Snowbasin are both owned by the same parent company. The Ikon Pass also announced that they’re adding Chamonix in France for next season. All participating resorts have closed for the season and spring skiing is no longer available. Please note: Scanning your 23/24 Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Plus Pass, or Ikon Base Pass for spring skiing counts as using your pass. Taos Ski Valley will no longer require lift reservations and has been added to the Base Plus offerings. Base Plus pass holders (additional $200 (200 CAD) with five ski days at Taos.
